Flames

A single flame ignites.

It burns
not to destroy,
but to guide.

The single flame
offers comfort
to those who've lost their way,
to those in darkness
to those who've lost hope
to those who are alone.

The single flame
burns steady
inviting Spirit to join,
inviting all to heal,
inviting truth,
invitations extended,
"Come as you are."

The single flame
draws another to its light
and one becomes two
as the light is meant
to be shared
between spirits.

Two flames
burn ever brighter
side by side
neither better
than the other;
an understanding
connects the two
in the name of Spirit
and together
they burn even brighter
than alone.

Two flames
two candles
one love
one spirit.

Namaste,
L
